Somewhere between a chore coat and a blazer. This one's made from a half-and-half blend of cotton and canapa, which is a rare hemp yarn with the same kind of textured crunchiness as linen or flax. It's spun in Italy in small quantities and gets better the more you wear it, so it's especially great in a canvas weave. It's unlined and unconstructed, with a natural shoulder and pickstitched spalla camicia shirtsleeve construction. The pockets on the front are special, too: we designed them so that you can tuck in the flaps (without looking like you just tucked in the flaps) for a more open look. There are even reinforced elbow patches to really drive the “casual” thing home. The fit of the Butcher is easy, with a touch more room in the body than other Sid Mashburn Sports Jackets.
